With such a rich history in horror stories and folklore, Salem is the premier place for Halloween events around Boston.  There is a little bit of something for everyone!  We’ve got pet-friendly events, zombie dance parties, galas, and all-around spooky good times!

MONSTAH SMASH COSTUME GALA
Journeys of Hope, a non-profit program serving the needs of homeless young adults from North Shore communities, is having its 2nd annual Costume Gala, Monstah Smash, on Friday October 22, from 8:00 to 12:00 am at the Nathaniel Silsbee House. Come and enjoy food, music, psychics, cash bar, silent auction and more. This is an 18 and over party.

HOWL-O-WEEN PARTY
Sponsored by PETCO, this Halloween party is based strictly around the adorableness of your pets.  Dress them up and enter them in a best costume contest!  Games and prizes will also make this event a howling good time!

SINGLES MINGLE AND COSTUME CONTEST
Another pet-friendly event by PETCO, this one is for our single residents!  Dress up with your pet and come mix and mingle with other Salem singles.

Zombies Wanted! Zombies wanted for a re-enactment of Michael Jacksons Thriller Dance presented Sunday, October 31, Halloween morning by Debra Crosbys Talent Quest TV Show at Devils Chase 6.66 Mile Run, Derby Wharf, Salem, MA. Zombies should arrive in costume at 7:45 AM for Zombie Thriller Dance Re-Enactment from 8:00am – 9:15 am
