There's more to Salem's Gulu-Gulu Cafe than coffee and wine.

If you are looking for a little fun, then come on down from your apartment in downtown Salem and check out everything the Gulu-Gulu Cafe has to offer.  With a wide listing of events, there is always something going on.  So from movies to performances and everything in between, you can always check out something fun, without staying inside your apartment in downtown Salem.

  • Tuesday Movie Night: Right now, starting at 8 p.m. on every Tuesday night, Gulu-Gulu is showcasing the entire “Land of the Lost” series, which aired on NBC from 1974 to 1976.  So come on down and check out the 43 episode series and be transported to a television show of yesteryear.
  • Live Music: This Salem cafe also regularly hosts live music while you sip your coffee or wine.  Coming up this weekend, you can see the End Times Spasm Band on Friday and The Found Objects on Saturday.
  • Open Mic Night: You never know what you’ll hear during open mic night, which takes place every Wednesday starting at 7:30 p.m.  So if you want to try your hand and performing (anything from written word to poetry and singing), or just want to hear what everyone else has to offer, come on down from your apartment in downtown Salem and take a seat.  Just make sure to arrive early, if you want a good seat.
