Stop by Peabody Street Park for free concerts on Sundays.
This Sunday, Salem kicks off the free summer concert series at the Peabody Street Park. Bring your kids, roommates, friends, and family to these free events in Salem this summer.
The concert series will feature an eclectic mix of fun music, from world fusion to classic, country and modern. This June, see performances by:
- Mamadou, June 3
- The Merj, June 10
- Leaders Led and Flabberghaster, June 17
- Gumbo Diablo, June 24
The music doesn’t stop there, though. Every Sunday, 3-6 p.m., the concerts continue throughout the summer through August 12. Get the full concert schedule at Jungle Rhythm.
This cool concert series is led and hosted by world fusion drummer Mamadou. Also interesting to note, Mamadou offers African drum and dance class every Monday in Salem, in case you can’t get his cool beats out of your head.
