Keep Salem beautiful this spring at the cleanup event.
All around your Salem apartment there is much to see and do, and you probably never think twice about what it takes to have such a beautiful town. The city doesn’t ask much in return, but if you want to help lend a hand in the beautification of Salem, then your time is coming to join the Clean Salem Green Salem spring event.
On May 5, the Salem Recycles and Beautification Committee is coming together in order to clean up the city. Leave your Salem apartment for a little while and help other citizens in the city to clean up the parks and common areas.
The event isn’t just you on your hands and knees picking up trash, there are all sorts of activities and events you can take part in. Plus, if you decide to volunteer, there is pizza and refreshments provided, should you become hunger during the day, as well as live music, a clothing and decor swap and raffle prizes.
There are also recycling opportunities for you, should you have material and other junk sitting around your apartment that you no longer need, but are looking to get rid of. So no matter how much time you have on your hands, from a few minutes to several hours, take a break from your Salem apartment and help clean up.
