If you live in a Salem apartment by the North River, you probably want to get out on the water as often as possible. Don’t worry if you don’t own your own kayak or canoe, as there are several different locations around you which provide not only boat rentals, but guided tours.
This way, you can either go at your own pace, or learn about the wild life and plant life around the water while you partake in the guided journey. Whatever you decide to do, there are many boat rental options, all without a short drive of your Salem apartment by the North River.
At Salem Kayak, you can rent out kayaks on their courses and tours. If you’re looking for a trip, they’ll take you around the Danver’s River, plus Salem, Glouchester and Marblehead Harbors for $50 per person on a single. They also paddle to Manchester, Salem Sound, Misery Island, and Coney Island.
